Meet Kendall Kinnear
Kendall Kinnear is the owner/operator behind Argos Home Inspection. Based in Vernon and serving the North Okanagan, Shuswap, and surrounding communities, Kendall understands that buying a home is one of the biggest investments most people will make. His approach to home inspections is built around clear communication, practical knowledge, and helping clients feel confident in their decisions. With a background rooted in building science and restoration, Kendall focuses on helping clients understand the bigger picture, not just the defects. He encourages questions during the inspection process and is passionate about educating clients about how their homes function, age, and perform over time.
Kendall comes from the world of commercial and residential property restoration. During this time, he worked as a water restoration technician and mould remediation specialist and took part in hundreds of remediation projects for a wide range of clients. This first-hand experience gave Kendall a strong understanding of how water damage affects homes and the systems within them, along with the warning signs of long-term moisture intrusion. That background helps him identify conditions that may contribute to one of the most common and costly issues in homes, water ingress.
Kendall later completed the Carson Dunlop home inspection training program, one of the most recognized home inspection training programs in North America. He is also a proud member of the Home Inspectors Association British Columbia (HIABC), allowing him to continue building his knowledge and stay current as building practices and technology evolve.
